The Assumption Parish Government Office of Administration is directly responsible for all financial and budgeting matters, personnel administration, policy development record keeping, investment purchasing, and monitoring of purchasing activities. The office of the Administration is also responsible for the preparation of meeting agendas, meeting attendance, resolutions, ordinances, and minutes of all official jury meetings.

The Permit Department issues building and occupancy permits to move, build/construct, remodel or renovate buildings and/or mobile homes in Assumption Parish.
